Below was the process we used to learn more about girls' education.

I am documenting our process of learning about Malala's cause, the right for girls to be educated everywhere.
My plan is to complete a mini project based learning experience with my students. The driving question for our unit is: How can we change cultural perspectives so that everyone has a chance to be educated?

I created a Thinglink to continue our discussion. My goal was for students to use what they know about the Civil Rights era, Ruby Bridges, and what the cultural perspectives were at the time that impeded her ability to have equal access to education.
2.) I then showed the following video and did a whole group brainstorm using a Mindmeister map.
